Keeping you warm since 1883

Adventureline is one of Australia’s oldest trading companies with it’s humble beginnings dating back to 1883.

M.B. Wragg & Co was founded in 1883 by John Davy Wragg Esq in honour of his wife Margaret Bennet Wragg.  The company was from the outset an agent for the British fishing tackle maker, S. Alcock & Co. for almost 50 years, when the firm first commenced manufacture of their own ‘Alpha’ brand of tackle in 1931 and soon began manufacturing its own range of quality outdoor clothing under the ‘Adventureline’ brand.

The original building of M.B.Wragg & Co is heritage listed and can still be found on Macaulay Rd, Kensington in Victoria.

The very first garment produced was quintessentially the Australian Wool Bush Shirt – over 135 years ago. This shirt has found its way through the ages and it’s modern day take - the Drovers Shirt - is a stalwart through our current collection.

In 2007 M.B. Wragg & Co. was purchased by Trevor Browne of Rosbert International (Aust.) Pty. Ltd, one of Australia’s leading importers and distributors of snow sports and outdoor recreational equipment.  The brand is still 100% owned and operated in Australia through Trevor’s son, Matthew Browne, and his business Vertigo Sports Pty Ltd.

Disappointed

My husband and myself have loved your product for over twenty years. However our latest purchase of two jackets we noted the quality and sizing has been down graded. After first wash in cold water one has shrunk and they are no longer suitable to wear

Looks great, super warm, great quality and value. My last Adventure Line product was a fleece vest that I loved and wore constantly for 25 years. So I had a high level of confidence in the company.

Awesome jacket

Awesome jacket keeps you nice and warm even on windy winter days. Only downside is the pockets not warm at all for your hands?

Second purchase

I purchased my husband this top last winter. He loved it so much I purchased him another and myself one.
They are so warm and comfortable to wear. I wanted to get him a blue one also, but they did not have his size. I'll be on the lookout for when they are back in. Got to be quick.

Terrific Jackets ❤️

I have just purchased my second jacket. I love the design, cut and longer length. It keeps me warm in those cold winds and the zip on/off hood is a bonus. Thanks for a reasonably priced, well made and comfortable jacket. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

nice fleece

ordered a medium for 6ft and 80kg, a little bigger that i would have liked, should have got a small in this one. only negative is that it is a little tight on my forearms and wrists, but i find that with most jackets.

Nice vest

Good looking vest, with a good fit. Ordered a Small for 6ft and 80kg, fits nice. only point for improvement is a bigger hood, when i put the hood on it lifts the vest from my shoulders, or removable hood even better.

Looks good and warm

Nice looking jacket fits well. Ordered a Med for 6ft 80kg, perfect sizing. only negative is that the 2 pockets are towards the front of the jacket which makes the pockets a little too small.

Amazingly warm.

These jumpers are fantastic in the winter cold, even here in Southern Tasmania in mid winter I am toasty warm with nothing but a shirt underneath. The quality feels exceptional and the sizing is generous. I'm a big lad, 194cm and 130kg and 3XL was perfect for me.

Lovely and warm

We bought a couple of these fleeces a few years ago and they are unbelievably warm and hard wearing. They are very well made and can be worn anywhere - working or relaxing.

Very happy

Very comfortable , well made , happy it does not have a hood , very helpful

Warm & stylish, durable.

I have had two original Maggie jackets and still wear one of them. I like the slight balloon sleeve - no one else makes this style. Very warm and comfy and nicer looking than the average fleecy jumper. Thank you!

Excellent quality

It’s hard to find quality coats, vests and jackets but these items that I have purchased are great quality and a great price. Very warm and a great fit.
Better quality than what I could get from Kathmandu.
Very happy with my purchase!

Love the brand. Excellent products and very well made.
